Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective September 01, 2026
Plants & Play understands that plans sometimes change. Because we purchase and prepare live plants and event materials based on confirmed attendance, the following refund, exchange, transfer, and cancellation policies apply to all Plants & Play ticket purchases.
1. Refunds
Refund requests must be received at least 7 calendar days before the scheduled event start time.
Approved refunds will include the ticket price and applicable sales tax. Service and processing fees are nonrefundable unless Plants & Play cancels the event.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the refund after it has been processed.
Tickets are nonrefundable when a request is received fewer than 7 calendar days before the event.
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Late arrivals
- Failure to attend
- Requests submitted after the event has started
- Failure to use some or all included activities, materials, plants, or prizes
- Guests who are refused admission or removed for disruptive, unsafe, unlawful, or inappropriate conduct
2. Exchanges to Another Event
A request to exchange a ticket for another Plants & Play event must be received at least 7 calendar days before the originally scheduled event.
Each ticket may be exchanged to another event one time, subject to ticket and plant availability.
If the replacement event costs more, the customer must pay the difference before the exchange is completed. If the replacement event costs less, the difference will not be refunded.
Exchange requests received fewer than 7 calendar days before the event will not be approved.
3. Free Ticket Transfers
If you cannot attend, you may give your ticket to another person at any time before the ticket has been redeemed.
Advance notice to or approval from Plants & Play is not required. The original purchaser may simply provide the recipient with the applicable electronic ticket or QR code.
The recipient should be prepared to provide the original purchaser’s name and order information if requested at check-in.
Ticket transfers must be made without payment. Tickets may not be sold, resold, auctioned, offered for sale, or exchanged for money, goods, or services.
Each ticket and QR code is valid only for the number of admissions shown on the ticket. The first valid scan will be accepted. Refunded, canceled, previously redeemed, duplicated, or otherwise invalid tickets will not be admitted.
Any approved refund will be issued only to the original payment method, regardless of whether the ticket has been transferred to another person.
4. Event Changes and Rescheduling
Plants & Play may make reasonable changes to event times, locations, activities, plant varieties, prizes, or other event details when necessary.
If an event is rescheduled or moved to another venue, purchased tickets will automatically remain valid for the new date or location.
If you cannot attend the changed event, you may request a refund within the deadline provided in the event-change notice.
5. Event Cancellation by Plants & Play
If Plants & Play cancels an event and does not reschedule it, customers may choose either:
A full refund of the ticket price, service and processing fee, and applicable sales tax;
or
A transfer of the purchase to another available Plants & Play event.
Plants & Play is not responsible for transportation, lodging, meals, childcare, lost wages, or other incidental expenses associated with an event change, rescheduling, or cancellation.
6. Weather and Circumstances Outside Our Control
Plants & Play may postpone, relocate, modify, or cancel an event when circumstances outside our reasonable control make the event unsafe, unlawful, impractical, or impossible to conduct as planned.
These circumstances may include severe weather, dangerous travel conditions, power outages, venue closures, government orders, public-health emergencies, supply interruptions, labor disruptions, or other unexpected events outside our reasonable control.
When reasonably possible, ticket holders will be notified using the email address provided during checkout.
Refund, rescheduling, and ticket-transfer options will be handled according to the Event Changes and Rescheduling and Event Cancellation by Plants & Play sections above.
7. Pricing, Inventory, or Website Errors
Plants & Play works to keep event descriptions, prices, dates, times, locations, ticket inventory, and availability accurate.
If a ticket is sold because of an obvious pricing, inventory, technical, or website error, Plants & Play may cancel the affected order and issue a full refund to the original payment method.
The price of a valid completed purchase will not be changed simply because the ticket price later increases or decreases.
